While not specified, the move is likely due to the return of TNT's Wednesday night NBA on TNT coverage and Curt Gowdy Award winning Inside the NBA program hosted by Ernie Johnson, Kenny 'The Jet' Smith, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley.

Last season, Dynamite aired during varying nights and timeslots to coincide with TNT's NBA coverage.

AEW is coming off a historic Dynamite live broadcast at Arthur Ashe Stadium and has proven to be a strong ratings draw since its launch in 2019, but more specifically as of late after the acquiring several of wrestling's biggest names including CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Malakai Black and Ruby Soho, adding to a talented roster that already included AEW Champion Kenny Omega, AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., TNT Champion Miro, the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), MJF and AEW Tag-Team Champions the Lucha Brothers (Penta El Cero Miedo and Rey Fénix).
