TeeRoy's 2 Cent:

  • You can't pass up them deals.
  • Wasn't AMC talking aboutraisingprices? They must have heard the complaints.
  • What was the last movie you saw in the theater?

When AMC Theatres re-open their doors next week, they'll be going back to 1920.

But you won't get to see a new blockbuster for that price. The theaters, which are set to open on August 20th, will play older films like Black Panther andThe Empire Strikes Back.

The first cities to see openings include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Las Vegas and St. Louis.
