Khalid & H.E.R. to Perform During HBCU Homecoming Celebration: How To Watch

Over the last few weeks, iHeartMedia has been celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) during an uplifting month-long celebration across multiple platforms, including a series of special events designed to shine the light on student excellence along with a Homecoming virtual concert featuring performances from Khalid and H.E.R.

Fans can tune in to all of the iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration events on Thursday, November 12th. Getting the day started is "iHeartRadio Presents The Pepsi HBCU Marching Band Experience," a special virtual marching band performance featuring four HBCU marching bands, some who are traditionally rivals, coming together to perform in unity. Performing marching bands include Hampton University, North Carolina A&T, Prairie View A&M, and Florida A&M. The full performance video will be available starting at 7am ET.

Then, from 3:00-4:00pm, The Breakfast club co-host Angela Yee, along with special guests La La Anthony and Kreyol Essence CEO/founder Yve-Car Momperousse, will explore female entrepreneurship and brand building as the modern-day self-CEO as part of the "iHeartRadio Beautiful Possibilities presented by Ulta Beauty." The panel aims to uplift and inspire the next generation of Black women leaders, and will also feature a performance from H.E.R.

Closing out the iHeartRadio HBCU Celebration, from 5:00-6:30pm, The Breakfast Club co-host and Hampton University Alumni DJ Envy will host the "iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Party on the Yard, presented by McDonald's" through it's Black & Positively Golden Movement, featuring a performance by Khalid and interviews with celebrity guests and McDonald's owners/operators, legendary HBCU Homecoming highlights and more.

All events can be streamed on iHeartRadio’s YouTube channel & Facebook, as well as The Breakfast Club YouTube channel.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year many HBCU's and their students and alumni are not able to attend in-person homecoming celebrations to honor their institutions' rich histories and cultural impact. The HBCU Homecoming Celebration on iHeartRadio has included special themed podcast episodes and custom vignettes celebrating Black excellence and achievement highlighting HBCU alumni and students including Bobby Valentino, Brian McKnight, Killer Mike, La La Anthony, Lance Gross, Lionel Richie, Metro Boomin, Terrence J, Toni Braxton, Wale, Will Packer, and iHeartRadio on-air personalities like Bev Johnson, Bushman, Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, Kendra G, Kyle Santillian, Mike Evans, Monica Barnes, Queen B and Zach Boog.
