Many fans online eagerly awaited Apple Music's official Top 100 Albums of All Time countdown over the weekend. Stans were particularly interested in where favorite artists like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish would place among classics from bands like The Beatles and Pink Floyd. In addition to Apple Music's countdown, Spotify also recently unveiled their list of the top rap songs of the streaming era. Unsurprisingly, Kendrick Lamar, the most critically acclaimed rapper of the past decade, claimed the top spot on Spotify's list. Kendrick features on the list a total of six times, with three appearances as a guest artist on other songs. Notably, his song "Alright" secured the number one position on the countdown, alongside tracks by Cardi B, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future. Kendrick Lamar has seen a significant spike in streaming numbers on Spotify, partly attributed to his ongoing feud with Drake, which has even led to breaking some streaming records previously held by Drake.
