Cam’ron made things awkward in a CNN interview on Monday night.
The Dipset rapper was a talking head on NewsNight with Abby Philips, so that the anchor could get his take on the Diddy situation. Given Cam’s past business dealings with Diddy, it would stand to reason he might have some insights to offer — but when he was live on-air on Monday, he didn’t seem interested in saying much at all. During the three-and-a-half minute segment, Cam starts out by condemning “all of the charges that’s alleged against him… I don’t support any of that.”
While the Harlem rapper admits he was upset what he saw in the video, he quickly got irritated upon follow-up questions from the host. He refused to speak on his own experiences with Diddy, and when it came to his apology video, he says that’s up to Cassie to decide. Seemingly irritated from the jump, Cam bristles at most of Abby’s questions, at one point even asking aloud how did he wind up getting booked for this interview. At one point he even took his own impromptu commercial break where he downed a sexual stimulant drink he sells, telling cable news viewers “I’m going to get some cheeks out of this” and plugging his show with Mase, It Is What It Is.
